Chain Design Features:
Heat Treatment: Ensures optimal wear life and toughness for all component parts.
Shot Peened and Ball Calibrating: Link plates and rollers are shot peened for increased fatigue strength, while ball calibrating ensures maximum resistance to fatigue failure for the plate hole.
Pre-Stressing: Operations are done to firmly seat the chain parts, evenly distributing the working load and preventing rapid elongation during the initial run-in period.
Pre-Loading: Roller chains run after final assembly to increase resistance to fatigue and prevent initial elongation.
